Speed-Lift Customized Dock Lift Solutions

Customized Dock Lift Options to Fit Your Unique Loading Dock Needs

Superior Handling Equipment offers additional customizable dock lift options to modify your Speed-Lift to meet your logistical loading dock demands, including:

Engine Gasoline Power (GP)
Available on the SL-5000 and SL-6000 models, a gasoline engine is an alternative to standard electric motors.

Weather Protection Package/Weather Shield (WS)
Protects Speed-Lift operator against all weather conditions with higher sidewalls and roof covering.

Double Wheels on Front Axles (DWF)
Increase your Speed-Lift’s durability. Option comes standard on the SL-10000 and all larger dock lift models.

Extended Bridges (EB)

  • EB-48”: Use with SL-5000 and SL-6000 when bumper posts are used in front of dock lift.
  • EB-52”: Use with SL-8000 and larger lifts when bumper posts are used in front of dock lift.
  • EB-68”: Use with inside-placed SL-5000 and SL-6000 lifts to extend through truck-height wall doors.
  • EB-72”: Use with inside-placed SL-8000 and larger lifts to extend through truck-height wall doors.

Extra-Wide 68” Platforms (EWP)
Increase productivity with more space. Optional on the SL-5000 and SL-6000. Standard on the SL-8000 dock lift and larger models.

Lower-Opening Bridges (LOB)
Used for locations where the Speed-Lift is positioned 6” or more above the truck approach grade.

Minimum Opening Bridges (MOB)
Ideal for inside locations where truck heights begin at 5” or more above Speed-Lift installation floor level (21” maximum lifting height).

Lateral Track Mobility (LTM)
Used to serve multiple inside doors, truck approaches and dropped trailers with a one-track, mounted Speed-Lift. Includes 21’ track and electrical power cord festooning.

Lateral Wheel Mobility (LWM)
Specially designed wheels permit easy sideways movement in and out of tight spaces.

Personal Restraint Bar and Cushion Cover (PRBCC)
Replaces standard chain with a reinforced aluminum bar, including all-weather cushion cover, which must be closed horizontally for the Speed-Lift platform to raise.

Platform Stops (PLTS)
Mechanical stop to limit platform travel at heights above ground level. Use with curbs, steps and low docks.

Vertical Bumper Extenders (VBE)
Extends vertical truck bumpers from the truck to the edge of dock lift frame.

Truck Bumpers Ramp End (TBRE)
Adapts standard Speed-Lifts to stop trucks with bumpers.

Ramp Winch (RW)
A heavy-duty brake winch that permits effortless lifting, lowering, unloading and loading of the off-ramp.

Anchor Systems

Bumper Post Impact and Restraint System (PS)
Strengthen your bumper posts and anchor your Speed-Lift. Must be used with an Extended Bridge (EB).

Surface Anchor Impact and Restraint System (SA)
Heavy-duty weldments reinforced concrete with expansion bolts.

Ground Anchor Impact Restraint System (GA/SS)
Secure your Speed-Lift to the ground with concrete-buried frame sockets and ground anchor sockets. Steel pins that drop into the sockets firmly secure the lift to the concrete slab.

Rear Frame Stops (RFS)
Heavy-duty extensions to the rear-side frames for lifts positioned against docks, steps, or curbs.

Wall and Floor Anchors (WF)
Secure the inside or outside of your Speed-Lift by anchor-bolting to floors, walls or docks. And the dock lift will still be able to be moved in minutes.
